The University promotes a multidisciplinary approach to research, through centers for brain studies, environmental studies, cardiac research, cancer research, energy studies, nanoscience, bioinformatics, aging, communications, cultural studies and others, where academic collaboration is breaking down outmoded barriers between disciplines.
