THE INTERDISCIPLINARY CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING (ICTAF)

In today's technologically volatile world, decision-makers often find it difficult to anticipate the impact of rapidly changing technological developments. To this end, ICTAF provides them with unique insights into current changes taking place, enabling them to make informed decisions about future policies.

Founded in 1971, the center leverages the expertise of world-class scientists at TAU and other outstanding research establishments to create a core body of knowledge in a diverse range of fields, including biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, geography, economics, education, social sciences, IT, and communications.

Functioning as a think-tank for future policy planning in Israel and abroad, ICTAF harnesses the knowledge of TAU's scientists and scholars for the benefit of the Israeli economy and population. ICTAF employs a variety of research methodologies, including Delphi expert surveys, trend analyses, and workshops and brainstorming sessions.
