Shalom!
You've landed. Welcome to Israel!
We apologize for not being able to greet
you at the airport, but you'll find that with the simple
instructions below, you'll get by easily:
At the Airport it would be wise of you:
1. to change some money at the airport
and obtain some New Israeli Shekels (Israel currency. Simply called
Shekels). You'll find better exchange rates inside the cities so
don't change too much.
2. to Visit the tourist information desk
and obtain some maps and promotional stuff. You can get the
useful "Time-Out Israel" magazine in the luggage-claim hall for
free.
After you've finished your business
at the airport, take a bus\train\taxi to the hospital (all dorms are
situated inside or near the hospital). Please see the following list
to know how to get to the hospital, and then check who to contact in
the hospital here. Some people have accommodation in different
hospitals then their department. PLEASE
GO FIRST TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE YOUR DORMS ARE LOCATED,
and only later go to the hospital where your department is located.
Public transportation stops at ~ 16:00 on Friday and resumes at ~
19:00 on Saturday. Taxis are available at all times.
Please select the City your hospital is in for further instructions
