These will be organized by the Center in collaboration with other relevant units and researchers in order to encourage the presentation and discussion of significant advances in plant sciences and of new approaches to allow plants to adapt to stressful environments. Interdisciplinary projects will be encouraged, including studies relating to social and ethical implications of emerging plant sciences. Foreign experts will be invited to present their research and to interact with our students. Publication of research results in international scientific journals will also be encouraged, and the legal framework for the benefits of related patents to accrue to the researchers and the center will be explored.
