Our department conducts basic and
applied research in a diverse range of disciplines
spanning biochemistry, biophysics, molecular genetics,
cell biology, systems biology, computational biology,
and bioinformatics. The unifying theme in all of
these interests is the central focus on a molecular
perspective. Teaching and training programs are
also an essential pursuit.
