Tel-Aviv Studies in Law



Tel-Aviv University Studies in Law is an annual hardbound volume of scholarly articles published by the Cegla Institute of the Law Faculty of Tel Aviv University. The purpose of the Studies is to further the study of comparative law and to make available, in English, scholarly articles on the development of changes and status of various areas of Israeli Law. The Studies publishes contributions of articles from distinguished foreign and Israeli legal scholars that are submitted at annual international symposia sponsored by the Cegla Institute.


The studies cover a wide range of topics: Volume 8 is devoted in the main to issues of Constitutional Law; Volume 9 focuses primarily on comparative and international aspects of Products Liability Law; Volume 10 includes papers given at the Symposia on Substantive Legal Theory and Modern Contract Law; Volume 11 is primarily devoted to comparative analysis of Judicial Review of Administrative Action; Volume 12 concentrates on human rights and their impact on matters of private law. In 1996, Volume 13 was released and includes articles dealing with Israel and European Law; Volume 14 concentrates of environmental Law and Volume 15 forthcoming in February 2000, focuses on German and Israeli legal cultures.
