Supreme Court decides in favour of migrant worker portability between employers
The Supreme Court ordered the state to form a new employment scheme, which will allow migrant workers to resign without losing their legal status. The court used the following harsh language to describe the previous scheme "One must conclude painfully and shamefully that binding workers to employers created a form of modern slavery".

An anti-discrimination case was settled, after the employer admitted that he fired two waitresses because they were Arabs, apologized and agreed to pay compensation.
Disabled People Rights
The right of toddlers with serious disabilities to transportation to rehabilitation day care centers was recognized and enforced.
Gender-Based Discrimination
An employee was awarded highly unprecedented punitive damages in a gender discrimination case.
Environmental Justice
The government was required to approve a new program to solve a sewage problem that harmed the health and environment of Bedouins in unrecognized villages.
Detainees’ Rights
The Supreme Court enforced the right of all detainees in Israel to have a bed to sleep on.
Workers Rights
The legal mechanism for enforcing minimum wage is more effective, following an amendment to the Minimum Wage Law.
