מרטין בובר היה מהבולטים שבהוגים היהודיים במאה ה-20, והנציג הבולט ביותר בפילוסופיה הכללית לזרם הדיאלוגי ולהומניזם הדתי. בספרו "אני ואתה", הביא מרטין בובר לידי הבשלה את משנתו הדיאלוגית, העוסקת בפנומנולוגיה של המפגש הבינאישי, והגוזרת ממפגש זה אונטולוגיה, אפיסטמולוגיה, אתיקה, פסיכולוגיה ותיאולוגיה ייחודיות.
במהלך הקורס נקרא בעיקר פרקים נבחרים ב"אני ואתה".

Reading Martin Buber's I and Thou
Martin Buber was one of the most outstanding Jewish philosophers in the twentieth century, and a prominent representative of Dialogical Philosophy and Religious Humanism. In his essay I and Thou, Martin Buber brought to its full development his dialogical thought, which deals with the phenomenology of the interpersonal encounter, and derives from it a unique ontology, epistemology, ethical theory, psychology, and theology.
The course will focus on reading his main essay, I and Thou.
The final assignment will be a home exam.
