השיעור יעסוק בתקופת הברונזה הקדומה של אנטוליה בשישה אזורים גיאוגרפיים:
-מערב אנטוליה והעולם האגאי
-הרמה המרכזית של אנטוליה
-עמקי הים השחור
-מזרח אנטוליה וטרנס-קווקז
-מישור קיליקיה ואזור הים התיכון
- הפריפריה של סוריה ומסופוטמיה בדרום מזרח אנטוליה

השיעור יטפל בסוגיות של תהליך העיור, סחר ריכוזי והקמתן של ערי מדינה.

The proto-history of Anatolia and north Syria

The course will address the proto-history of Anatolia with equal emphasis on each of the six geo-cultural regions:
- Western Anatolia including the eastern Aegean littoral - The central plateau of Anatolia
- The Black Sea region
- The Cilician plain and the Mediterranean region
- Eastern Anatolia-Transcaucasia
-The northern periphery of Syria and Mesopotamia in southeastern Anatolia
