סילבוס הפילוסופיה הפוליטית של דלז וגואטרי

השותפות האינטלקטואלית של הפילוסוף ז'יל דלז ושל הפסיכואנליטיקאי פליקס גואטרי בשלהי המאה ה-20 הולידה בין היתר פילוסופיה פוליטית מקורית ורבת תנופה. במסגרת הקורס נעמוד על כמה מן המושגים הבסיסיים בפילוסופיה הפוליטית של צמד ההוגים הזה – מושגים שקוראים תיגר על עיקרי המחשבה המדינית הליברלית ומציגים תחתיה זירות חדשות למחשבה ולפעולה פוליטיות.
בין השאלות שנברר: מהי מינוריות, וכיצד היא קוראת תיגר על שלטון הרוב? מהו היחס בין התהוות נוודית לבין פוליטיקה של עימות והכרעה? כיצד אפשר להתנגד לחוק בלי לאשש את כוחו? אילו כוחות פועלים על הילדה הקטנה, וכיצד היא יכולה לערער את המבנה הפוליטי הקיים? מהי מיקרו-פוליטיקה? ומהי מהפכה מולקולרית?
את המושגים הללו נחלץ מכתביהם של דלז וגואטרי, ונבחן אותם ביחס למחשבה הפוליטית והאתית של הוגים מרכזיים אחרים בני זמננו. בד בבד, נעמוד על טיבו של "הפוליטי" עצמו בעקבות המחשבה של דלז וגואטרי.

Ohad Zehavi, The Political Philosophy of Deleuze & Guattari
The joint work of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari toward the end of the 20th century produced an original and potent political philosophy. This course will look at some of the key concepts in this political philosophy – concepts that challenge the very foundations of liberal thought and offer in its stead new sites for political thought and action.
The following are some of the issues that will be addressed: What is minoracy, and how does it challenge majority rule? What is the relationship between a nomadic becoming and a politics of conflict and triumph? How can one oppose the law without reinforcing it? What forces is a little girl subject to, and how can she undermine the existing political structure? What exactly is micropolitics? And how does a molecular revolution take place?
These concepts will be drawn from the writings of Deleuze and Guattari, and they will be contemplated in relation to the political and ethical thought of other key contemporary thinkers. They will also provoke us to dwell on the nature of the very concept of the political following Deleuze and Guattari’s thought.
