פונולוגיה מתקדמים

בקורס זה נלמד ונבקר תאוריות גנרטיביות העוסקות בנושאים הבאים: מבנה ההברה, מערכת ההטעמה, מערכת התכוניות של הצלילים הלשוניים, השפעת הפונולוגיה על מבנה המילה (מורפולוגיה פרוזודית), ומבנה הלקסיקון כפי שהוא מתבטא בקשר בין פונולוגיה למורפולוגיה (פונולוגיה לקסיקלית).

חובות הקורס: קריאה ועבודה (ניתוח תופעה בשפה לפי בחירת התלמיד/ה במסגרת התאוריות
שנלמדו בקורס).

This course introduces post-SPE theories of Generative Phonology, developed during the 80s. These theories are concerned mostly with phonological representations (e.g. syllable structure, feature geometry, metrical structure), and the phonology-morphology interface (prosodic morphology, lexical phonology).
Most notable in these theories is the deterioration in the status of the rules (which were the center of attention in the SPE model), and the rise of non-linear representations and constraints on representations.
