The objective of the School-Based Curriculum Unit is to carry out research, development and evaluation concerning school-based curriculum development and organizational methods in the school, as well as with regard to a multi-level training program for sp
ecialists in school-based curriculum planning. Study material is produced
in cooperation with teams of teachers for use in the school-wide training programs. The Unit also develops models for an assistance program involving external authorities for the d
evelopment of school-based curricula.
Key projects:

Technological Leadership Project: This project aims to nurture educational leadership in the field of technology. It encourages school autonomy and builds a network of agents in schools to promote change in the field of computerized technology.

The Educators' Ethical Code Project is working on the construction of an ethical code for the teaching profession.

School-Based Curriculum Planning in School-Wide Training Programs: This long-term project aims to develop materials for school-wide training programs relating to four spheres: educational platform, the structure of studies, organizational structure, and s
chool-based evaluation. Training programs are conducted through monthly encounters and study days.

Nurturing the Self-Directed Learner: This project is based on an analytical model for a learning environment that nurtures self-directed learners.
