The Emotional and Social Characteristics of Special Needs Children

This project is developing a language intervention program for Israeli hearing-impaired children aged 0-6. Research focuses on communicational skills in pre-verbal hearing-impaired children; vocal production; gestures; parental expectations concerning children's education and relevant educational frameworks.

Research produced by the project has appeared in journals in Israel and elsewhere, and has been presented at international conferences. The project is funded by the Ministry of Education and the Society for Pre-school Deaf Children.
