Paul Rivlin

Books

Paul Rivlin analyzed the relationship between power, economics and social classes in Iran since the 2009 elections in a lecture entitled Iran’s Social Contract, at the Iran Center, Stanford University in January 2010. In February, he gave three lectures at the Naval Postgraduate College, Naval War College, in Monterey, California, on Economic Developments in Egypt, Economic Growth in the Middle East and Recent Developments in the Iranian Economy.

Rivlin published a paper on the Middle East and the international financial crisis in the Jewish Policy Center’s Infocus Journal. His reviews of seven books were also published: David A. Wesley's State Practices and Zionist Images: Shaping Economic Development in Arab Towns in Israel, Shofar: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Jewish Studies, Fall 2010; Michael Dumper's, The Future of the Palestinian Refugees; Jane Harrigan and Hamid El-Said's (eds.) Dr. Rivlin co-authors and edits Iqtisadi, the Center's monthly publication on the Middle East Economy, available in Hebrew and English.
