As a public university in a country facing domestic and international crises, Tel Aviv University is committed to contributing its skills to the community, as well as conducting teaching and research of the highest standard. The University aspires to help reduce social gaps, to improve socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged sectors of the population, and to provide gifted youth from the periphery with every opportunity to enter higher education and increase their social mobility.

Together with this, the University seeks to increase the level of social involvement of its students in all faculties by engaging them in a broad range of community programs.

For this purpose, the University has mobilized its human resources and expertise and is actively recruiting financial support from sources in Israel and throughout the world.

Entering the web page of each community program will provide a summary of that project. Browsing through the entire site will offer a sense of the variety, range and depth of the University's overall involvement within the community.
