The studies in the School of Chemistry at Tel Aviv University are conducted in Hebrew. We therefore strongly suggest that students learn Hebrew prior to their arrival for studies at the School of Chemistry, as it will make studies much easier. Hebrew Ulpan is available and recommended for all students but is not obligatory for applicants nonresidents. (One of the main objectives of the Ulpan program is to enable students to comprehend Hebrew lectures on a university level and to write term papers in Hebrew.)
