Marcel and Clare Gloriot Memorial Foundation

The primary mission of the Foundation is to provide scholarships to needy students, primarily, post secondary, from available funds.  The opportunity is open to all, including people residing outside the United States, and the amount of each award may vary.  Should an applicant living outside the United States be selected as a scholarship award winner, the funds will be made available to that applicant in his/her country.  Notwithstanding the information below, the Foundation reserves the right to make awards on its own and to evaluate third party nominations of prospective award candidates.

Applications should be mailed beginning January 1 to reach the Foundation no later than April 30, each year.  After processing and reviewing the applications, the Foundation will decide how many scholarships to award for that year and in what amounts.  Each prospective award recipient will be contacted to send one recent passport photograph.  Upon receipt of this item, a formal letter of the award will be mailed to the recipient no later than July 31.  Also, in that letter will be information detailing how applicable funds for the award will be disbursed.  The Foundation is not responsible for securing admission to an accredited college for any applicant.  A recipient who has not secured an admission to an accredited college by the August 31 deadline will have his/her award rescinded. All applications received become property of the Foundation and may be disposed of as the Foundation sees fit.
