INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL PROGRAM IN ENERGY SCIENCE

The International Doctoral Program in Energy Science provides international students and researchers holding a master’s degree (or equivalent) with an opportunity to further their studies toward a doctoral degree in energy science at Kyoto University. The program aims at nurturing international specialists with a global view of energy science, and at promoting cultural exchanges as well as the formation of a worldwide personal network. In this Doctoral Program, Japanese proficiency is not required because students can obtain the necessary credits by choosing from amongst a variety of subjects presented in English and their research works are also supervised in English. An evaluation of eligibility for admission will be made on the basis of the documents submitted to our Administration Office.
