  Institute News & Events

Save the date: For its annual Israeli Holocaust Memorial Day event, the Institute, in cooperation with the Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies and Diaspora House, will hold a conference, "The Holocaust - Between Past and Present," on April 12-13, 2010. ...more.
Prof. Dina Porat was invited in late January to the special Israeli government meeting dedicated to the UN-declared International Holocaust Memorial Day, where she spoke of attempts to delegitimize the post-Holocaust status of the Jewish people as the ultimate victim and martyr.
The Institute held a reception for diplomats on January 19, 2010. Dr. Isaac Lubelsky, coordinator of the Institute's annual Marianne and Ernst Pieper Research Seminar Series on racism and genocide, was the recipient of the annual Raul Wallenberg Prize during the event.
The Institute's weekly lecture series, The Holocaust between Past and Present (in Hebrew), is continuing throughout the 2009/10 academic year.
The Annual Marianne and Ernst Pieper Research Seminar Series focuses in 2009/10 on the ties binding religion and racism (in Hebrew).
Among visitors to the Institute in January were Dr. Samuel Feldberg, from the University of Sao Paolo, and Ms. Kathy Shand (Australia), who was a guest of Friends of Tel Aviv University.
